2012    Farnsworths and Kays first visits to Uganda

2013-14 Tim teaches Solomon at ABU

2015    Tim introduces Solomon and Hal to each other

2016    Our first pastor and church planter training conference in Kole, N. Uganda, organized by team of ABU grads led by Solomon and taught by Hal and Tim – 70 participants

2017-19 Annual conferences continue in Lira, Gulu, and Kitgum with growth to 400 participants.

2019 Hal and Tim began meeting with RUF-G coordinator, Chad Brewer about bringing RUF to East Africa. Around the same time Hal and Tim were also having meetings with representatives of the newly forming Uganda Presbytery of the Reformation Church in East Africa about church planting, pastor training and RUF-G.

2022 Edgewood Ministries formally established to build on the momentum and expand the impact… of equipping African ministry leaders in order to… help the African church meet its potential of Great Commission…Kingdom…Gospel impact

2022-23 New training format for our annual conferences focused on more in depth training with a smaller number of African pastors. Each of the members of the African leadership team brings 3-4 rising leaders from their areas across Northern Uganda and South Sudan with representatives from 5 East African countries and three refugee settlements.

2023 Third Millennium Ministries sends their East Africa Director, Cloud Roman, to present the Third Mill Institute at Edgewood’s annual pastor training conference at ABU in Kampala, Uganda. Third Mill has now become Edgewood’s primary partner for facilitating pastor training in East Africa.
